Open Call - WOMEN’S HEALTH AND FEMTECH
Open Accelerator is a new concept of an acceleration
program fully dedicated to women’s health.
We are looking for bright entrepreneurs (or aspiring ones) developing and/or selling innovative technologies to improve women’s health and wellbeing.
You can either be an established startup or an ambitious project, we are open for business!
You are developing a product (either physical or digital, or both) to solve major medical needs in therapeutic areas such as gynecology, cardiovascular health, oncology, sexual health, endocrinology, gastrointestinal - nutrition, autoimmune disorders, mental health, neurology, reproductive health, and more.
We are seeking consumer products, biotech assets, drugs, nutraceuticals, medical devices, app/software, services, digital health/platform, telehealth - or combinations of the latter.
Program structure
We offer tailored assistance, addressing individual challenges such as regulatory approval, clinical trial protocols, IP protection, reimbursement strategies, market entry, customer acquisition, and fundraising. Our approach involves in-depth engagement with the scientific aspects, aiding founders in strategic thinking about their scientific endeavors.
The OA 2024 program consists of:
- two sessions on-site in September and November (with a Demo Day);
- online sessions every week from September to November 2024.
The program prioritizes flexibility and participation, focusing primarily on accelerating go-to-market strategies and product development.
Residential sessions will take place at the OpenZone campus in Milan, online sessions will include lectures, mentoring, and business and technical support from Zambon.
The program will be conducted in English.
No application fees are required.
